Knitted money

My parents took a long weekend in Paris, and visited an exhibition called gallery Rabouan Moussion. They were really fascinated by it and so took pictures for me. It is a collection of knitted money or credit cards, made on a really large scale. What I find most interesting is that the money or credit cards are not completely finished and are decaying slightly at the bottom. This highlights the current credit crunch and the loss of money, and money falling to shreds. I like the idea of using knit to express a fear or a worry in today's society. The knits themselves are also very beautiful and well made. Very impressive.
